Thought you'd be along at some point 😁 hope your keeping dry and safe away from the winds down your way 🙃

I'm sure at the time there was an article in the speedway star and the said rider said if was difficult for him to travel to Berwick every week 😚
-
I recommend using a calculator.
-
Is that with reduction,i got it down to 2.1
-
Wow Rob Godfrey a crook..do you think he solely makes this up and he convinces his fellow BSPA members to do the said crooked things. I remember in past years other chairmen of the sport getting similar sort of things said..they will never win 🤷🏼♂️
-
He’s outgrown the NL now really. But with such a high points limit, it’s no surprise that Oxford wanted him back.

2025 Danish Semi Final Result beating Kildemand, Nagel, Juhl Pedersen, Tobias Thomsen & Jonas to name a few. Have the Comets unearthed a gem?
-
Got to agree, although the Ipswich side of 98 would be very close.
-
I see we have the u21 final well done redcar
-
Well the only thing I can say about this Northampton thing is cobblers!

The only way I could see it working is if they talked Harry into fronting it a bit like Clarkson's farm and then got a tv deal with Amazon or Netflix off the back of it with £200-£500k of backing from the tv company so they could get a really good side together and also give the marketing a really big push. -
How much was he offered?
-
He also won the Danish U21 semi final meeting outright on 13 points plus then winning the 3 way run off. Ahead of both William Drejer and Mikkel Andersen, who both finished in the top 5 of the SGP2 series (5th and 3rd). I know nothing about the guy, but at least the results on paper give a quite a level of optimism at his age 🤷♂️

I don't think most people would of heard of whoever the 5 point rider was, if you dig through the results he had last year in the Danish Semi-finals and U21 final, he seems a rather exciting signing for me. It's been 3/3 success in terms of the three 5 point assessed riders we've signed exceeding their 5 point average so far. He's been in much better company than the overall level in the Championship so I'm sure he will be very competitive and learn a lot
-
Max Perry doesn’t fit average 2.29 we have 2.27 left. The last rider will be Senne Summers
-
Not sure who the reserve will be ?
-
As far as I'm aware he is doing polish U24 on Tuesdays then hop to Denmark for Wednesday
-
Big gamble this yes he is a Danish rider but has anyone heard of him ? He very young to be doing 3 big Leagues, is he going to be available for Saurdays if he had a Polish contract ? 5pt average is alot to give away to an unknown rider. Hope I'm wrong just think it's a gamble and be fairly expensive contract to id say with flights etc.

I can't remember 1937 world champion Jack Milne ever riding in Division 2. Jack Millen did (aka Millen the Villain).😃 -
By my sums Perry doesn't fit. Not sure who would be the next best available. Think this Workington team looks a bit top heavy. Maybe relying on Cook & Zischke to show real form?

Although supporting Rayleigh, once I had learned to drive a few of us use to do Crayford on Tuesday, Wimbledon on Thursday, Hackney on Friday and Saturday night at eight at the Weir. When it came to other away matches, Canterbury, Eastbourne, Ipswich and Peterborough. I never went to Rye House until the season that the rockets de-camped to Rye. Jack Milne was one of those up at the top with the likes of Brian Foote and the Kennet clan. Use to relish Dave Lanning turning up at the Weir and the accusations over methanol were legendary. Those were the days. -
While I get the point you're attempting to make, that's a bit harsh on Starke who upped his average & won the treble with Poole!

Danish U21 final. Jakobsen goes in heats 2,7, 12, 13 and 18 IIRC. Tidy style, decent trapper. Brave extended battle in heat 7 when on the outside. Big ask for a youngster to go straight into the main body of a Championship team and, on a five, presumably stay there. But best of luck to him.

But for some, £250K is peanuts! In fact, a possible tax offset!
