Unless fans stop attending play off meetings, then they will stay. Don't think a Glasgow fan has anything against Glasgow!! Think they were just giving a rough guideline on how it could be, rather than exact?
-
I think it's an illustration rather than an expectation of actual teams

Iām really not sure which of the two it is, and I wish now Iād asked. But was told by the Hat that there isnāt going to be one league, was never going to be one league, and that at least one Championship club would get more of a help via TV money to be competitive in a move up. Some interesting changes i.e rules/regulations, team building rules etc incoming also.

GP line-up for 2026
ShanoXtra replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Why is it too big of a jump for Przyjemski when he is 7th in the overall averages of the Ekstraliga? He is ahead of 11 of this years SGP riders in the hardest league in the sport, for comparison Kvech is 37th. -
So Ipswich and Glasgow 27 average and most of the others 29, what do you have against those teams?
-
Play offs only attract bigger crowds because of the play off system, which means the league doesnāt really matter. Scrap the play offs and all of a sudden crowds come for the league matches because itās the way you win the league.
-
The Championship doesn't have a "TV deal" as such, so no need for Play-offs šš¤£

I don't disagree with you as I prefer the top of the league system, but while Play Offs attract bigger crowds and any TV deal demands it then they are here to stay.

hence why occasionally you have to be prepared to be a bit ruthless to get to the very top - Nielsen was the classic example - Gundersen was the nicer chap but Nielsen was prepared to stuff you to get what he wanted hence why he was the more successful of the two, for the record I preferred Gundersen - lovely fella! I still love the picture i had taken with him at Cradley one saturday night - not long after that he was injured never to ride again!
