Not sure what the total team average is currently but you can’t just add the two averages together and bring in a new duo up to the combined average of the two they’re replacing. It would have to be done individually, a replacement for Lawson up to and including his current GSA, and the same for Nicholls. Emil doesn’t have a work visa anyway and there’s zero chance they could or would get a new one just for a few meetings.

Nicholls coming out for his re-run when clearly not fit seemed very odd. Wasn't able to ride from the moment the tapes went up. There isn't any time pressure on being seen to by the medics as far as I am aware. Surely he should have been replaced? Can only assume he insisted on giving it a go, but surely he is experienced enough to know he wasn't going to be able to do it? Gave up a guaranteed point for no reason. Obviously gutted for him, just seemed an odd sequence of events.

As with everything there will be a discretionary element for the powers that be - i remember Rohan Tungate and Jason Doyle missing flights back from Poland a couple of seasons ago and as a result missing league meetings here in the UK - Tungate got a ban and JD didn't as relevant facts were taken into account at the time!

Lawson has got by recently due to the points he scores on track, promoters must just turn a blind eye to his constant lateness to meetings with dirty bikes he can not be bothered to wash. This story about babysitting duties does not crop up that late in the day its just a good story to go with without getting a suspension. Apparently fell out with most of his family back home for whatever reason so seems low on support.

Lawson and Nicholls out leaves us 13.56 for 2 riders as we're over the cap so like for like. Small stint for Emil and a 4/5 point rider?

Double change potentially on the cards then maybe. We’ll see. Didn’t look to be that heavy of a fall but my view at the time wasn’t the best. He’s at an age now where the old bones break that bit easier.

It doesn’t quite add up, housing applications take months to go through so they may as well had let the fixtures continue to have some income. I don’t understand how it’s nothing to do with the Dugards this time as they are the stadium owners, unless it’s an outside factor such as the stadium being repossessed?

So much actually goes back to that lack of independent strong leadership for the sport... Riders can get bans but still have every possibility that even before they ride for either of their teams again, some promoter will call and ask them to guest... Riders, of a certain level, know they are far too much in demand to have any real sanction against them... And, in a sport with so little to "play for" I am not sure why bans are in place, given it is the rider who hasn't earned money, so he is the main loser due to the situation.. And some bans can mean the rider misses no meetings...

But the rocket man rides for Poole, and we all know how they bend the rules to suit themselves. But IMO this is not the 1st time said person has done something similar, should definitely be a 7 day ban but could be 28 days

Not sure we’ll see him again this year but we’ll see. Might be case of just limping to the line with R/R for the last few meetings and then see what next year brings.

When you see the treatment of what they did to Jordan Jenkins last week there is no way he should not get a ban.Sport is a joke.

Normally if a rider is ill, it's a 7 day suspension, but Jack Holder missed a match due to his children being ill & didn't get a suspension. If that's the rule, everytime a rider is unwell, they could just say they're looking after unwell kids instead?

I don't know how the rules & regs work in Denmark but Hausl only had two rides for Esjberg on Wednesday which suggests to me he pulled out.
