What a joke of a system. WE beat the Germans 7-2 in the heats yet finish behind them. FIM have cocked up the sgp scoring system now this joke of a system. No wonder no one wants to televise the event.

The rules state In the event of 3 teams or more on equal points the teams will have considered to have a bonus point if finishing in 1st and 2nd or 2nd and 3rd. The teams scoring the most bonus points will finish higher. If that is a tie 1st, 2nd 3rds will determine. Germany had 5 GB had 3 Australia 2

Rushen didn't get a ride, but Will Cairns was on fire, top scoring first Team GB, and would have scored more if he hadn't shut off as he approached the finish line in his first race!! Lesson learned!

Something needs to change in the team GB management setup. You can’t allow our hottest prospect to stay in the pits until heat 27. You’ve asked him to miss his GCSE exams today to be a team member and haven’t utilised him to his full potential. The same can be said for Cairns when he should have been given a ride in GB last heat when we were already qualified in Landshut.
