Just think there is far more altenatives tbh, United, City plus lower and non league clubs, cricket, rugby league/union, ice hockey, loads of top gigs, etc etc, theatre shows among all that speedway is a well kept secret.
-
Did the administrators take the 'nd' off the end of your forum name? As you just seem to only have 2 answers "best track" and "won the league" in every discussion and you think other people are going to look silly. Perhaps a little quiet personal reflection time might help you!

There's a surprise. Klindt is poor at Plymouth so are stronger with guests. Can't see many Plymouth fans complaining about this farce as it benefits them! B*****ks to the sports credibility!
-
No not at all we might not win the league but at the moment I’m not concerned if we have to face Belle Vue as 3 times this season we have comfortably won at home and won once away and drawn away
-
I think you can blame both the BSPL for allowing such rules to exist & the Plymouth promotion for accepting it & allowing Klindt to go missing when he's riding the next day. While the Knudsen situation isn't great, he misses matches when he's riding abroad, which is in the regulations, so Oxford get a facility, different to Plymouth when they don't get a facility for Klindt at home.

Ipswich v Belle Vue 14/08

what impressed me was both Emil and Jason are just not quite 100% of what they were say 2 years ago but in heat 13 they proved their class and worth! -
On a different note Doyle got me concerned in his first two outings, I thought his seasons of dramas were catching up to him. Then he wins his next load of races! I do wonder if he was entirely happy with how hard Ellis was riding him in heat 15, couple times he almost had him off! Although Doyle done well to win the race with a punctured rear tyre! 😂

I haven’t been to Ipswich for a couple of years but from what I see and read it does seem to have a buzz about the place which is good to see -
Come back when you have actually won the league otherwise you are going to look rather silly 😜

barking at the moon that one! -
We saw proper racing tonight … even Mulford made passes Emil passed your top two easily … Ellis then did the same to Bewley ….. must be so difficult when you haven’t got a huge fast track to stick your rocket ship out in the dirt and play catch me if you can my bike is faster than your bike Fact is your team is made up of one track ponies who haven’t got the skill to adapt ….. Kings Lynn ride Foxhall better than your lot lol

To be honest I don’t go to watch rider mistakes either, can you tell Tate not to ride straight into our air fence next time on his own accord.

i think its down to illegal immigrant's not liking speedway

Well having been to both places - i seriously think tonights Crowd at Foxhall was 3k+ maybe even 4, decent weather school holidays etc but it brought them out. Despite the usual FTG and other mutterings from people who were NOT there the crowd loved it - several standing ovations after races etc - and we got to see 4 genuine top line riders in heat 13! I was happy! -
Oxford v Sheffield 14.8.25

Oxford only ever beat the Brummies, so the expected result. -
Weird analogy Best race track in the UK yet you don’t get good crowds?? Yet tracks like Ipswich (which of course isn’t as good as yours) are being blamed for the death of speedway Well you have the better track and we have better crowds ….. I guess then that your promotion team are responsible for the death of the sport as they need to get the crowds through the door As you weirdly keep saying we haven’t won the league since 1998 yet we year on year get better crowds than you …… need to promote the sport better in Manchester
-
I genuinely believe Ipswich is more of a community and the surrounding area backs its team, same with football ATM. Manchester is just another overloaded city with probably more to do but also not as dedicated to its local club, obviously some die hards but I mean when you look at population Manchester should be able to draw massive crowds. This isn’t a dig at anyone from Manchester by the way! I’m sure you’ll come back with “because you have nothing to do apart from farm” 😂😂😂

To watch quality racing not rider mistakes and bad track prep

From what I’ve seen at belle vue this season if the crowd at Ipswich is correct then Ipswich get more for one match than belle vue do for 2 -
The expected result, even tho Milford outscored both Witches reserves! Aces are gone in the semis if they have to race the Witches.
