  1. Past hour
  2. It is Luke's Dad, several on here could vouch for that. Also discussing it is fine but its gone on and on and on and got a bit silly (in BSF style) now so you can understand riders and their families getting fed up with it.
  3. With the deadly duo LBW and Shovvy whipping up the Pirates fans to make an intimidating atmosphere. The Oxford boys will crumble under the pressure and Poole will nick an away win.
  4. If you rent a stadium, as Poole do, then the costs of putting on any event on any day of the week are the same as for a Pirates meeting on a Wednesday. Poole don't get any income from the stadium. No parking fees, no food and Beverage revenue. Their only revenue comes from admissions, programme ads and sales, sponsorship and banner ads, so they have to be reasonably confident of the meeting being popular enough to get a decent crowd even with a reduced entry fee because its NDL-level. The Pairs on a Saturday in August can be planned well in advance to ensure most of the stadium staff (stewards, bar staff etc)are available and not committed to working at/attending AFC Bournemouth as several do,
  5. Today
  6. I though you kept up with all the Polish league stuff? Fraser travelled over to Krakow with Richard Lawson for track practice on Saturday and a chance of making the team on Sunday. Michael West had better race times on Saturday so secured the final team spot (scoring 2x 3rd places) Krakow drew 45-45 so maybe could have won if Fraser had been included?! We shall never know...........
  7. Not sure how injuring your eye while working on your speedway bikes is not a speedway-related injury!! As for Oxford being allowed a heat leader guest for a non-speedway related illness?!
  8. A couple of things here: a) how are we to know who you are? 2) fans discuss incidents, it's part and parcel of the sport. I don't think it was done deliberately, but this is an occasion when a lot of people (including Jan Staechmann) think the rider ahead should have been declared as the cause of the stoppage. Obviously we all feel for the injured riders. That shouldn't prevent fans from discussing what happened.
  9. Far too sentimental and loyal at times. I'm not sure it's gone under the radar, but Rushen just seems to be getting on with scoring points + winning races at both levels, having barely turned 16. Him, Cairns and Harrison should be the 3.
  10. 07.05.2026: Brązowy Kask, Bronze Helmet Qualifier, Krakow, : https://youtu.be/XV9YMkzZywc?si=JwSVP0DKTOLUszsE
  11. He’s back tomorrow for Northampton, can’t see him stopping a drubbing at Sheffield
  12. Iversen back for the Foxes with Sedgmen in for Zagar and Hagon for Harrison
  13. How can the GB management be so clueless when it comes to picking their best team. Rushen has to be in that team. They are genuinely useless at their jobs.
  14. Looking at met office forecast for today and tomorrow, not certain all six teams will be riding.
  15. Because the weather looks iffy, the track will be prepped slick and hard, so I'm leaning towards an Aces win, Kerr in particular likes a slick Foxhall and could be the Aces trump card
  16. No offence to Gilkes, but with the points available we can get a better replacement for Bowes than Gilkes. Swapping Bowes for Gilkes would be a waste of team building points
  17. I assume it's the reduced facility for Iversen, so has to be a guest for him. Sedgemen or Kerr, if average fit, could be best available. Guess r/r for Zagar.
  18. So both Riss and Bowes are missing with non-speedway related ailments.
  19. Surely if they were going to, they would have re-signed Gilkes and replaced Bowes with Newman?
