  1. Past hour
  2. He shouldn’t though he should really be coming in on 4.91, if we’re going to use the rules correctly.
  3. Maria Whittaker to cut the red ribbon at the Jubilee Cup final ?
  4. You said back in December they’d already signed one Flagrag. What happened?
  5. Would the witches accept Kurtz if he promised to try every meeting? 🙄
  6. Well it certainly wouldn't work at Edinburgh... Their promoter couldn't work out how or why the city's basketball team got three times the crowds Speedway got...
  7. Fienhage is a permanent resident in France, but he isn't French. He still has his German passport.
  8. Today
  9. £59 per seat at what I think was the price for the majority.. I think the cheapest were £44 and the view from anywhere would have been pretty good. The most expensive VIP tickets I didn't look at but imagine somewhere between extortionate and daylight robbery ☺️ Hence why I said bigger events and especially the GPs. They are in it to make money though so these events must be turning a decent profit. As above, but a lot of the enthusiasm shown by the promotion would cost next to nothing and would make for a more exciting night out. I'd guess in that hall you'd be looking at 250m max or maybe 200m with air fences. I went to the Classic car show a few years back at the NEC and as best I can remember some of those halls were bigger and could have a reasonable track built in but would need stands built as well. What the cost of those halls are though I have no idea. I reckon a small track with a few top riders at this time of year and with the same presentation could work well if filled to capacity like the arenacross. Just looked it up and capacity in that hall is 15,600 which would be a better atmosphere than a half full Cardiff.
  10. Ablitt will probably come in at 4.64, after the 8% reduction. Lambert will fit as you could tell by the vibe on the 360 podcast he has signed. Don't know why they can't be transparent like other clubs are in the press releases 🤫
  11. Ablitt's last GSA was 5.04 4.91 after 2.5% Reduction.
  12. Every track in the top flight will take a hit on the attendances they’ve had previously I think that’s a given. It’ll be interesting to see how much of a hit though. The one team that I can see getting away with it to a degree, is Lynn. They now have the top rider in the league which they haven’t had for an awful long time, and the two young lads at reserve should pique their interest. The league set up will please nobody though and it’s been an incredibly damaging winter that has left a bad taste in the mouth that’s for sure.
  13. I paid just under £50 last night, there were cheaper tickets available and also some more expensive. You could get a family ticket for £100. They also do numerous VIP upgrades and you can also buy a track walk package.
  14. The Aces will end up advertising prices for the two GP meetings, the PCMM, and Season Tickets all pretty much at the same time.... It must impact at least one of the three, if not two... With, you'd suspect, the GP's being the one least impacted... Crowds could be a real issue this year...
  15. I worked it out as 4.99 minus 2.5% they were the last figures I saw which means Lambert can’t be fitted in at 4.53 with reduction which would leave them over the limit.
  16. The absence of the Russians doesn't mean the series winner isn't the world champion.
  17. Only way it makes sense, That'll rule out the Wolves Trio rumour entirely which bring us onto the new rumour of Lambert @ No.1. Olly Allen as TM? He'd snap up King and he'd be working with Lambert and Brennan before the World Cup.
  18. Perhaps Becker is giving UK a miss, same as Rew. Only two there that I’m confident will be in the line up, are Brennan and King.
  19. It's an interesting one because Becker hasn't been name dropped for Northampton. If we had Brennan, Becker, King and Rew for example then it only leaves 10.38 meaning no room for a No.1 as the No.6 has to be a minimum 3.00.
  20. Are we looking at one of these. Team A (Wolves Trio Rumour) 1. T. Woffinden 8.45 2. J. Jeppesen 4.34 3. L. Becker 6.88 4. K. Rew 6.19 5. T. Brennan 7.05 6. J. Jenkins 3.46 7. J. Edwards (RS) TM Pete Adams Team B 1. R. Lambert 7.81 2. R. Tungate 5.89 3. D. King 6.50 4. K. Rew 6.19 5. T. Brennan 7.05 6. J. Jenkins 3.46 7. J. Edwards (RS) TM Olly Allen
  21. Pretty sure King will be there. Godfrey said on the podcast last week that King had been quite vocal about the fact he wouldn’t do one league, and needed two leagues otherwise he’d retire. So he has two clubs he could have signed for. The latest podcast this week, name dropped Riss, Wright, Kerr and Lawson in at Northampton. Nobody else so far. King will be at Ipswich. Louis probably done his mate one last favour before buggering off.
  22. 100% agree, Fricke's a good signing but his GSA is inflated due to him take an R/R Ride in Heat 8's alot last year. Where's Lambert's is only that low because he's only shown up for the Play-Offs in recent seasons, Can easily put a 0.75-1.00 point on a 8.00 Assessed GSA imo.
