  3. Morris on his average is likely to be able to pick where he wants to ride, can't imagine any team saying no thanks on that average.
  4. The championship league hold all the aces, they stand together and they can control the way things go,I would love to regularly watch grand prix riders at poole but that's not going to be possible in british speedway anymore, need a structure that works for british speedway and that won't include gp riders,if bv and ipswich got to have them, then just have to race against each other

  6. I thought Jack Holder was excellent for Tigers, he didn't get the points for his efforts and left it all out on the track, not bad for a GP rider with an Ekstraliga final coming up to put that kind of effort in for a tin pot league championship. I've said before, I quite like his cocky arrogance when he's won a race, it gets a reaction from people.
  7. Link for Golden Helmet( Czech TV) tomorrow start time 11am UK time http://video.ucoz.lv/index/live_stream/0-5 TVP Sport Poland are also showing it live online- might be available to watch or might be GEO blocked https://sport.tvp.pl/88958944/zuzel-zlata-prilba-na-zywo-transmisja-online-wyscigu-live-stream-21092025-gdzie-ogladac
  8. Would agree only thing I see is they are heavily involved in Sponsership and are prominent people in the Management of the sport now.Race night is a major stumbling for Glasgow and Poole + financially viable if having to pay big money for Major Heatleaders.Hope Championship tells them where too go.Rider availability and guests needs sorted out though.
  9. I think Nick Morris would be a steal for Poole in 2026 at his current GSA as of 1/9 at 6.62 or even his British Speedway 2025 av of 6.76 from 7 matches since his return from that long ban. His finishing GSA for 2023 (his last season before ban) was 8.82 for Birmingham. he has been riding himself back to fitness and his current GSA is arguably 2 points below his potential and still only 31. I reckon he will be in demand but being Southern based (Swindon way ??) he will be in demand. Saying that probably find that Oxford will go for him if they keep current format in Champ in 2026.
  10. @NeilWatson is this meeting on tonight ? Struggling to find any info on it.....
  11. I would be very surprised if Glasgow were to move up i think they have mentioned in the past they are not interested.
  12. Yes, I got a similar deal. Actually an early bird deal on a £20 ticket which cost me £18. I never understood the ticket pricing at Cardiff. 20K-30K fans paying a fairly modest GP ticket price (say £30-£40) would surely have made that meeting financially viable? We certainly didn't pay £20 for a ticket to go to the NSS did we? Yes I know all about the quality of the racing and I agree. In fact racing wise I think the Friday meeting this year is up there as one of the best GPs ever. I do worry about the future at the NSS. I can only see them getting one GP next year and to make that pay with all the costs involved could lead to tickets well over £100. Wait for the comments when that's announced. For me, the original plan of one GP in Cardiff and one at the NSS was perfect. A great day/weekend in Cardiff and a top meeting on one of the best circuits (the best?) in the world was something to savour.
  13. I know Rew is based over there for sure, both holders, Doyle, fricke, Douglas, Masters, Cook brothers, Kurtz, Picko, and some others are based in Britain I believe, or at least must work in Britain for visa purposes.
  14. Save the date *Saturday the 25th of October 2025* PANTHERS ON THE PROWL !! Peterborough City Auction Panthers will hit the shale once more in a long awaited return. The Panthers will visit the recently re-established Mildenhall Fen Tigers in a challenge match at the West row stadium.
  15. I don't know what you paid but my last ticket for Cardiff was £23... same as a league match!
  16. Not so sure about that, especially for the younger ones, aren't Rew and Lidsey based in Poland? I assume the likes of Masters with his family and maybe Douglas are UK based? A lot would depend on visa and family situations
  17. No they have quite a strong balance sheet with a good amount of cash in the bank. They do however appear bankrupt of ideas on how to successfully grow the sport.
