Fricke was never going to be 10+ away from Leicester in his first season. Kvech is no longer Ekstraliga & GP funded, Harris is hardly likely to improve at his age & Cook is turning up, he didn't last year. Castagna was never going to be anything better than a useful #6 in top tier. -

Championship Predictions 2026
szkocjasid replied to Paddy The Rebel's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
From my predictions I would say Redcar & Berwick doing better than expected, Glasgow doing worse than expected, all others on a par. -
Yeah, RIP Fella. Took a little while to grasp him but, once the penny dropped really enjoyed most of his debates and ramblings on here. Enjoy the other side

RIP Jenga - a true character of the forum, thats for sure

Awful again out of the gates. I'm with many others who were concerned with the signing of Castagna.Cook is another one who i wouldn't have signed,if he don't gate you know his position from the first bend. Fricke needs to find form quick.I know he is on a new track, but you get a 10 average for a reason. He has to set the tone in heat 1,but he is not doing it.1 race win in heat one from 7 matches isn't good enough. At the moment imo Cook and Castagna must be worried about their positions. The biggest plus points are our reserves. They have been pretty solid so far even with all the inexperience they have.Cooper is a talent, and I have watched him for the Young Stars but never expected him to be doing what he is doing so far.He was that close to beating Kurtz by about 20 metres tonight had he not fallen chasing Blodorn. He is a prospect.A pleasure to watch. -

Also wouldn't expect him to get the scores he's got so far either lol the way things are you could easily get rid of any of the 2-5 positions -
You should be in the know 😜 spill the beans 😃. Was it not the lesser spotted cook having a test

I'm sure Aces will win at Northampton if currently Foxes lineup remains. Fancy they'll win at Beaumont Park too if they have full 1-7. You can't really have expected Fricke to have replicated his 2025 10+ average form with the change of home tracks. Castagna signing was always bizarre. -

Castagna needs to go for a start, why they picked him over Sedgmen in the first place I’ll never know -

8 teams riding this Friday, so the choice of guests is from Plymouth only in the CL Probably R/R if Cookie isn’t fit, can’t see Nicholls taking it with his schedule of Ipswich Thursday, Plymouth Saturday. Berwick have already taken Tom Spencer, so a NL guest it is for Vinnie. Which puts the pressure on Max Perry to score our likely only points from reserve. Options for Saturday are also very limited with 6/9 teams riding.

Think Tigers management have decided to stick with Hausl, his average might drop down to reserve and put Hagon at No 2.This might spur Hausl to score points. But leaves Hagon with a lot to do at No 2. After Worky, we dont have a meeting for a month,is this the time for HAUSL to get his finger out and start practising at Ashfield or will he just head back to Germany and we have the same situation, he's not interested.

Heard a bike tonight going around the GT Tyres Arena tonight. Led to believe it maybe a new signing.
