  1. Past hour
  2. At least we've finished all our matches by the required date....
  3. Glad we lost, riders looked uninterested and crowd was dead due to the score at the end. We will be out of the semi finals by Tuesday if we get beat by more than 49-41 Monday night, Thompson doesn’t look like a main body rider, he was struggling at 6 recently before he moved up. King hit and miss like Ellis, all season. Emil and Doyle starting to show inconsistency. And Sheffield would have finished top as they would have taken 3 points at home. So the whole circus act continues into play offs once again
  4. Well well well. The mighty Ipswich crumbling at home to the fast track specialists. play offs come at a perfect time for the tigers
  5. There you go. Anyone want the weekends lottery numbers?
  6. Why should I be? I dont really care who wins as long as its not Belle Vue!!
  7. ha ha you will be the one with the jitters after this performance hardly confidence boosting is it 😉
  8. Paid 11 for Anders at Ipswich tonight, must have found his gating gloves!
  9. I said it when we lost against Lynn. We are not as strong now as people think. We won’t win the league, we are carrying people at the moment, and you can’t do that and win the league. We don’t even have our ‘foxhall’ advantage recently, we’ve been pretty crap to be fair… compared to the start of the season.
  10. I think you just summed up life in general in 2025, not just speedway. You could argue in this case however that riders professionalism has took a huge upwards curve and therefore expect a return, whilst some promotions have not followed suit. Bringing a disparity in expections of what the sport is. Morrissey famously saw it coming way back when he wrote "I decree today that life is simply taking and not giving, England is mine and it owes me a living" I can't comment as I wasn't around in the 80s but I can only imagine what a different time it was.
  11. Will it really make a huge difference? Which is Leicester’s preferred race night? Both teams should get a decent attendance at home …
  12. The millions of pounds worth of prize money difference between finishing 2nd or 3rd makes it a huge meeting
  13. Today
  14. I think they’ve mucked-up the balance of the team - it must have been an error to allow Thompson’s average to creep above Ellis’s by 0.04 … no excuses.
  15. pre-play/off jitters not a great start to the meeting ???????
  16. Hi made it in time for heat 3. There was a mysterious electrical fault affecting the ref’s controls, which held things up for another five minutes. This should have been held at KL, then it wouldn’t have started until 8:15 … although, thinking about it, if it were at KL the match would have been called off yesterday …
