So Newcastle have applied to run in this years NT, i suspect it's a test to see if running in the NL is viable. Would give IoW Mildo and Plymouth an extra home meeting to enjoy.

NDL tracks need to be on the slick side because of the relative inexperience of those competing. CL riders can handle less slick tracks but doubt there are many, if any, who could race on old-fashioned 'deep' on the modern bikes.

Should enter the CL team.. might have a chance

Surely it is better that fewer animals are bred than to keep breeding animals that are cruelty treated ?This isn’t specific to greyhounds, but any animal. It is like saying if you stop testing products on animals it is cruel because less beagles or monkeys will be bred . It was also the fox hunt argument that if hunts are banned then the dogs won’t be needed....

That is a few times that you have mentioned "Rob" as if it is his decision & his alone. How do you know that Rob agreed to it? Could Rob have been against the proposal but out voted as this is how decisions are made, by votes. The BSPA has a committee of 5 members but almost all the promoters would have had a vote. By the way, I do not agree that all 3 meetings should be on the same weekend, as it could be a financial burden to some families with it being just before the summer holidays. There is also the issue that Peterborough could not fit it in at the Showground.

What Osbourne & other developers should do ................ be accountable & rebuild or re-site new stadia before any houses are built as per the planning procedure. They should never have been allowed to build houses before the speedway & stock cars were sorted.
