  1. Just paid for the stream without coming on here first. Hope they will issue a refund as nothing on the site to say it's off

It doesn't actually say he is the third heat leader in the averages though. just that he is expected to start at No 3 so possibly the riding position. I think it's a good start so hopefully a good base to build on. Was any mention made of further track work?

Does anybody know if there are further track works planned in the off season? Accepted the work done belatedly this year helped but I still think the track needs some more work doing to bring it back to the standard we have had in the past and hopefully produce some good racing

I see on Facebook that THJ is advertising himself to ride in the UK for the rest of the season, would he fit?
  6. I agree, I have supported Poole for many years and the poor state of the track certainly makes me think twice about going. I have seen some fantastic racing there over the years and it is a shame that it is being neglected at this moment in time. Give the fans a good circuit and they will return, I am sure that the poor crowd last night was in part due to the terrible event dished up at Easter.

Honest Mister Tax Inspector, only 1000 people came through the door so that is all the money I received said no business ever!!
  8. Last year we had the shale issues which they told us was resolved, it's beginning to look like the shale be used is total crap...………..yet again!! You have got to have decent material to provide decent racing, decent racing equals happy supporters and more of them, it's not rocket science but I am starting to have my doubts that the promotion either care or just don't grasp the basics
  9. I thought last night was very poor entertainment, I attended the practice session the night before and it was obvious then that the air fence did not look right so despite what was obviously a problem, the management and the track staff leave it until 07:30 before starting repairs at the insistence of the Ref. The parade was a total shambles with something that I guess was supposed to be music being looped over and over with the riders ambling across the centre green. The racing if you can call it that was dire with most of the riders not looking interested if they missed the gate and the atmosphere in the stadium just dead We are supposed to be in the top league of speedway and what was demonstrated last night was a total unprofessional mess, if I had attended that for the first time then I doubt very much that I would come back again, to be honest not sure if I am that bothered myself at the moment. Come on Poole Speedway, you have the potential to do much more but if you carry on like this then the crowds will stop coming
  10. Fair enough, from that angle you can clearly see that Jason hits a hole, we were sat in the grandstand so could not see what happened and the other clip is not so clear, hopefully Jason is not hurt
  11. Just watched this on YouTube and cannot see Jason lift at all, it looked like a classic chain going from the angle of camera. Regardless hope he is ok as he was certainly going flat out all afternoon. As far as Richie is concerned, he needs to stop looking for excuses, he has been woefully under powered for most meetings with just the odd race where he seems to get it right. After the amount of rain we had yesterday it is a wonder that they managed to get the track back in some sort of order at all
  12. Lambert coming across as a total tool, the track was perfect as clearly stated by Brady after the meeting. By all accounts the tractor has had a major issue after the meeting during grading resulting in the oil spill, One of those things that can't be helped.

If the repairs were left until 3 weeks before the start of the new season then yes it is the clubs fault, the promotion had from the end of last season to schedule in repair work and get this sorted out. We all agree that the track needed work doing to it but why wait to the last minute? With regards to the rain, I have checked one of our outside security cameras keeping in mind that we are only at Sterte and yes it did rain from around 1.30 in the morning until around 5 although I would not call it torrential rain!. I don't know if the stadium drainage system has become worse over the years but I can remember days when you would have had a lot or rain and would have sworn that it would have been called of only for the meeting to go ahead
