shazzybird 10 Posted January 21, 2005 How old was Rinat, from his picture he doesn't look that old? Thoughts are with his family and friends and fans at this sad time, something that sounds so routine has ended with tragic circumstances.

Tigerblade 221 Posted January 21, 2005 Didnt he ride for sheffield in 1995?, r.i.p. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, but I seem to remember the name being linked with Sheffield at one time. We did "sign" Sergei Kuzin but he never appeared, I remember the rider replacement facility doing us proud!! RIP to Rinat though, early 40's is certainly too early in life
BrizHeathen 37 Posted January 21, 2005 RIP Rinat, far too young to be taken from us like this. My memories of Rinat stem from a Russian tour of Australia in the late 80's early 90's. Rinat was part of a team brought to Australia by Trevor Harding. The whole team were kitted out in identical red leathers and were highly entertaining on the larger Aussie tracks. Rinat showed real class and put in some fine rides , earning himself a start in the prestigous Billy Sanders Memorial at the Brisbane Ekka where he rode against the likes of Phil Crump and Sam Ermerlenko. I didn't hear much about Rinat after he departed Australia, so any info about his career would be much appreciated.
