Nation On Film

Recommended Posts

A programme on BBC2 yesterday called Nation On Film about amateur films from the 1930's, featured a few seconds of speedway.

I couldn't identify the track. Did anyone else see it?

I saw it. I think it was taken by the guy from Plymouth, but exactly where it was, I don't know.

I saw it too, unfortunatly I didn't tape it.

It looked like Late 20's early 30's as they were douglas machines and they were leg trailing, in one sequence they had big Stars on their backs if anyone can recall that

The BBC has a website where you can download film clips from the programmes.

Try :-

.nation on film

It mentions a a 30 second silent Motorcycling - Scrambling shot.

As I'm not au fait with downloading film clips perhaps someone else can try
