Rob B 1,257 Posted June 5, 2005 I'm surprised, was pretty sure USA would make it through. They really could have done with Hamill instead of Werner. Can't see Russia doing much at Swindon.

TwoMinuteWarning 69 Posted June 7, 2005 Result of the Terenzano qualifier has been amended by the FIM to include 16 heats, not 15, so result is now: Germany 33 Slovenia 23 Hungary 22 Italy 18. Scorers are at: http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/speedway2/wtc05.htm Brian
iris123 20,996 Posted June 7, 2005 Saw that on Speedway.org.Any idea why that was,if the meeting was abandoned after
TwoMinuteWarning 69 Posted June 7, 2005 (edited) Not really. Seemed sensible to call a halt after 3 rounds (15 heats) when all riders had the same number of scheduled rides. Still, I'm sure the FIM have a rule to cover it (well, maybe) Confirmation is at the FIM website: http://www.fim.ch/EN/default.asp?item=16&o...503main2005.htm Edited June 7, 2005 by TwoMinuteWarning
tomazpozrl 8 Posted June 7, 2005 I think the reason for this is that it's a team event and every heat involves one rider from each team. Therefore after heat 16 all 4 teams had 16 rides. It's a difference in compare to individual meetings where riders only ride in one out of 4 heats.
