SCB 15 Posted November 26, 2006 Yeah...and it's interesting that Vostok are the team that AJ has raced for, and is being talked about for 2007 when travelling to the UK was allegedly an issue for him <{POST_SNAPBACK}> At £5000 travelling expenses, I'll go and ride in Vostok or any other un-spell-able and unpronounciable Russian city/town and give the Bitish League a miss

As they left out days before the team would, the team's owner bought them three spots on the Trans-Siberian Railway to get to the game.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of the action from there next year, even if it is just on the PC for now....

I am very well informed about Russian speedway (and geography) and regularly use both http://www.russpeedway.ru/ and http://irgiz.narod.ru/ (although it takes forever to unload). I have been to Latvia, Ukraine and Russia (although I've only seen ice speedway in Russia (@ Saransk)) Oh and you forgot Kamensk-Uralski in your list of teams Edited November 30, 2006 by arnieg

Which league is Kamensk-Uralski participant? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Last year the team from Kamensk-Uralskij took part in junior championship (riders not older than 21 years). And ice-speedway more popular in this town.
