iris123 20,996 Posted January 29, 2008 Seems as Tuinstra didn't make it through on his own steam they have seeded him through to Saransk. So now only 5 go through from Inzell. No reserve as the reserves are from Stockholm and Saalfelden <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Pay more attention Conkers
f-s-p 832 Posted January 29, 2008 Pay more attention Conkers <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I bet his hands are shaking and swetting since it's only four weeks until Assen... So just a typo... Better not handle the lenses too much with them hands...
Conkers 67 Posted January 29, 2008 Speedway.org is where I read the FIM reply about Johnny T. and that Laguta was in the championship. Following my precedent e-mail (see hereafter) and the results from the QR 1 in Stockholm and QR2 in Saalfelden, the CCP Bureau took the following decision: As no Dutch (KNMV) rider qualified themselves from the QR 1 and 2, the CCP Bureau decided that the best placed KNMV rider (Johnny Tuinstra) will be qualified for the first final (day 1) in Saransk. After the 1st day in Saransk, Art. 074.5 will apply. In order not to spoil the result from the QR 1 and 2 and to be as fair as possible, the CCP Bureau decided that only the best 5 riders from Inzell will qualify for the Finals. So, now, in QR 1 and 2 the best 5 riders + 1 substitute will qualify and in QR 3, the best 5 riders. The ballot for the 1st Final in Saransk will be made after the QR3 in Inzell. Best regards, Christian Mercier CCP Coordinator So reading that, Tuinstra is through and that Flyktman isn't (6th @ Inzell) but Laguta (6th @ Saalfelden) and Aakko (6th @ Stockholm) are reserves. Maybe I misread that Johnny was reserve, but surely Laguta is reserve for R1 rather than Flyktman. Or have the FIM moved the goalposts again?

DutchGrasstrack 804 Posted January 29, 2008 Ouch! That should explain why he wasn't in Sanok last weekend for the EC.
Conkers 67 Posted January 29, 2008 In that case, he can hardly be first on the substitute list, as that injury is likely to rule him out for the rest of the Ice season.
