Have read that Günther Bauer rode at Inzell with 5 broken ribs.Broke them in a training session at Saalfelden on New Years Eve.Not seen any confirmation of that though. On Günthers site it says he was ill and that is the reason he never took part at Flims

I heard from Roger Newton that there is a meeting planed for Norway on 2nd March, which he has tentatively entered. Anyone know any more about it (venue/line up etc)?

Can't find anything at the moment

Some nice pics from Inzell on the Sports Illustrated web site - makes a change from all the US Sports they cover ceaselessly! Sports Illustrated

Have to say that some of those pic's are very, very good. Do we know much about the photographer, Bob Martin ?

Incredible an American sports publication covering American sports.

Great shots though; thanks for drawing it to the attention of the forum. Let's acknowledge the positivity of their input and they may come back for more. What great publicity.

Change to the Austrian WTC side - Franky Zorn will ride at No. 3, Harald Simon at 4, with Josef Kreuzberger at 16.

Considering Franky said he didn't want to ride the Austrians now look a formidable side, and a rostrum spot is possible

Something in the Swedish press about Posa admitting to a tactical error in his heat against Aakko... But Aakko won it, thats great. There are links to pictures in the isracing.net guestbook showing Aakko's bike with a steel coloured frame. Perhaps he's now managed to finish his new bike for the trips to Russia.

So any news on who will fill the last spot, Joni?
