Not seen this been reported anywhere else. But according to Danish media, the 2008 SWC Race-off and Final will be held at Vojens on july 17 and 19.

Event 1 and 2 will be in England and Poland.

If it follows this years schedule, event 1 will include the winner, number four and five from the SWC the year before, which are Poland, GB, Sweden.

Event 2 will include team two, three and six, and that means Denmark, Australia, Russia.

Event 1 in Poland or Sweden?

Event 2 in GB (I guess GB is the closest the aussies get to Australia)?

If either Event 1 or Event 2 are held in the UK, Great Britain's team will be in that meeting. If Events 1 and 2 are held in Poland and Sweden, Great Britain's team might well be struggling to make the final.

Why do people moan that when the world cup final is held in sweden/denmark/poland then sweden/denmark/poland will win the final???? Havn't got much faith then if the only place everyone thinks GB will win it is over here. Then again, even over here they ballsed it up coz 'captain fantastic' saw a red light that didn't exist

agree!

and the tracks over here are prepared for the brits as much as the foreigners prepare there tracks for there own teams! (wich they arnt really becuase the finale and leszno came down to the last heat so it oculdnt have been that far in polands favour)

In all honesty i can only see two team that can win at the mo.Poland can win at home. The other likely venues(Denmark,GB + Sweden) would probably see Denmark win.

Seriously rethinking coming over in 2008. SWC represents some of the best riding IMO, can't see that happening at Vojens. Might as well engrave the trophy now.

if the final is at Vojens then well worth keeping clear of if it's anything like the dross that was served up at this years qualifying round there.

Vojens+Olsen track prep=crap racing.

The last World Cup in DK produced some super speedway at Holsted, Outup and yes Vojens. Sweden were the winners even minus TRICK due to injury.

I am pretty sure that the tracks were prepared for good safe speedway, well we really enjoyed our week there.
