Racing not as good as has been in previous years but did get better towards the end. Run off for third was a bit strange, McKinna was leading, Halsey seemed to clip his back wheel and fell quite heavily, then Juul passed McKinna, ref stopped it and awarded it to Halsey. Was most impressed with Summers and Peter Juul, can definalty see Juul being as good as Hougaard in a year or so, looked very good when in front and tried from behind but was only using the inside. Well done to John Branney but he is not exactly a junior anymore.

Not a bad meeting tonight but racing wasn't as good as it's been in previous years. I don't know what type of cars were bombing round the track before the meeting, they looked like sand buggies or something like that, but they were making a mess of the track. Screenie had a few practice laps and he looked like he was struggling on bends 1 and 2. Track work was done before the parade and it didn't look too bad though the riders said afterwards it was very slick.

Not much to mention racing wise. Big well done John Branney on winning it. Summers must be gutted as he did everything right bar making the gate in his last ride. He tried everything to get into second but just couldn't find a way past. Glasgows new boy looks to be a great prospect. Good gater (aren't they all from Denmark) and looks smooth on the bike. Only snag was when behind he wouldn't move off the inside, if he'd have gone out wide he would have passed whoever was in front of him no problem.

Didn't understand the ref's decision in the run off. Halsey went to go round McKinna on first and second turns of lap 4. Halsey clipped McKinnas back wheel and fell heavily. Larsen then passed McKinna and as soon as he'd done that the ref slammed the red lights on, excluded McKinna and awarded the race to Halsey. Wrong decision IMO.

Not a bad night for £8 though.

think the ref made a couple of bad decisions. adam shouldn't of been excluded in the run off and heat 20 should of been pulled back 2 of them clearly jumped it!

Adam would disagree with you...he said that he locked up and caused Daniel to come off. He had no complaints about his exclusion. But, if Daniel hadn't come off, Peter was passed them both and would have claimed the win and therefore third overall.

Decent meeting, though as it built to a climax. Just surprised so few attended when there was nothing else on and it was only £8!
