Rob B 1,257 Posted September 27, 2008 At last a referee who didn't fall for Pedersen antics leaning on a rider and falling off if anyone tries to pass him up the inside. Don't know how he could compare that one with the Crump/Gollob one which was totally different. Don't know why Gollob had to do that, he had the final place in the bag, more like the Gollob of 1995 that. Unbelieveable that Crump had the engine failure with the win in the bag, Pedersen will be a lot more relieved now.

Rob B 1,257 Posted September 27, 2008 Why,was he Grumpy's mechanic? Presume you don't watch it on Sky? After the fuss he was making in the sky studio that the only way Crump wouldn't win was if he had an engine failure, he jinxed him.
Reviresco 708 Posted September 27, 2008 Not sure about some of the tactics tonight. Andersen on Gollob in Heat 15 was just plain rude. Dryml on Nicholls in Heat 7 was just plain dangerous. And what the heck Crump & Gollob were doing in Semi 1, is anybody's guess. What goes around comes around caught up with Nicki at last. And Crump's EF in the Final made up for his get-off in the semi. An interesting GP. Can someone remind Sudden Sam that all tracks are man-made and not just the temporary ones.

Rob B 1,257 Posted September 27, 2008 Your opinions are nothing to do with the team you support, of course? Of course not, and I presume yours are nothing to do with your avatar either. Nicki has been getting away with that leaning on riders and falling off too much, that was the third time this year he has done it and the first time he has been excluded at last. tony159 46 Posted September 27, 2008 Good to see Hans had recovered from his illness earlier in the week. Gutted for Jason with his bike trouble in the Final, another 4 points would have put more pressure on Nicki and made the last G.P interesting .
schumi 0 Posted September 27, 2008 Anyway, congratulations to Hans.

Mateusz 0 Posted September 27, 2008 How was the Crump/Gollob incident different to the Pedersen/Crump incident? It was the same situation.
Rob B 1,257 Posted September 27, 2008 (edited) How was the Crump/Gollob incident different to the Pedersen/Crump incident? Crump was about 3 quarters of a bike length ahead of Pedersen up the inside, Pedersen knew he was passed and leant on him and was on his way down even before they had got to the bend to try and get Crump excluded like he did earlier in the season. Gollob was about half a bike length behind on the inside of Crump and took his leg entering the bend. Grodzki has made a lot of made decisions in the past but got them all spot on tonight. Paulco 7,080 Posted September 27, 2008 How was the Crump/Gollob incident different to the Pedersen/Crump incident? Crump done a clean pass and Pedersen leaned into him thus causing the crash . Gollob and Crump had a ding-dong battle and were almost neck and neck going into the bend when Gollob's back wheel took Crump's leg away causing the crash . Both Gollob and Pedersen were correctly excluded in both mine ,and more importantly , the referee's opinion . And that's why we post on here - to express our opinion whether others agree or not . From PC to KC. 25 Posted September 27, 2008 Niki,s steel shoe only got stuck in Crumpy,s foot rest because Niki put it there. Both decisions correct by Ref in my book.
