What a terrific meeting! With all riders giving 100%, it was good old fashioned guts and glory racing, something I did not expect from a best pairs meeting.

I hope that sulky boy Pavlic was looking in, at least he would get a glimpse of what it takes to be a speedway rider!

Well done to Poole on the Best Pairs win, at least they have taken some silverware on what is a poor season by their standards. :approve:

Good meeting, cant understand why anybody would say it was ordinary. Well done to Poole but cant help think the Bees gave it away. Got to say Bomber over the last few meetings has rode like a proper captain and number 1, lets hope he keeps it going for the remainder of the season and for years to come.

Well done Poole, pretty ordinary meeting though. Why no race for third?

? Seriously :o

I just hope there were many non-speedway fans saw it. Lots of good stuff in it.

Congrats to the Pirates on their victory. :)

Looked a good meeting from what i saw of it(from ht 9 onwards), with plenty of passing thanks to riders riding as a pair and using throttle control instead of just gate and go.

Hans is becoming an EL pairs specialist and now Noddy has won both the EL and PL events.

Well done pirates just about deserved over all especially Hans whos attempts at team riding was highly commendable....Holder would have got my vote for mr entertainment anyway but pleased for him that he repaid Hans in the final...finally commiserations to Eastie and tough luck on young Bridger and what a presentation Eastbourne put on for there 80thon what must have been a pressurised build up for them...heres to many more meetings at Arlington

Pairs meetings are fantastic . The PL Pairs at Somerset outshines the following evening's GP at Cardiff in the entertainment stakes , and this meeting tonight was full of excitement and great racing .

Good meeting, and good to see something a bit different, would be good to see a few more Super7even events on Sky IMO.

Great result for Poole who were always going to be up there. Noddy had a bit of a mixed night but pulled a good ride out in the final and helped Hans (who was good all night) out to get the victory. Congratulations to them. :approve:
