hans fan 1,001 Posted September 19, 2010 The key to this meeting is the reserves, but beating Swindon or Eastbourne isn't the same as beating the Bees and the Bees reserves are as probably the best in the league at the moment, having said that the Panthers reserves are good at home so the result could hang on heat 2. yep the bees reserves are the key esp the pole who looked like he took to the showground like a duck to water in the last meet,if he struggles it's gonna be tight overall

TheSmiler 420 Posted September 19, 2010 (edited) Should be coming along to this one. Haven't been to the EOES in a while and always enjoy my visits there. Thinking the Panthers will win by about 6-8, hopefully we can hold onto the lead we have. I'm sure we can. Adam. Edited September 19, 2010 by Adzy
zonkers 7 Posted September 19, 2010 (edited) KRZYSZTOF Buczkowski escaped serious injury in a horror crash in the Polish Final. Peterborough's’ popular star hooked up with rival Tomasz Gapinski in Heat 2 of the championship at Zielona Gora on Saturday night. Gapinski, on the inside lifted going into the first turn and brought down the Panthers’ star before crashing into the fence. Gapinski was taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg but Buczek was able to pick himself up and eventually finished 13th with six points in a meeting which saw Janusz Kolodziej win his second Polish crown, having previously been number one in 2005. Buczkowski had two seconds, two thirds and a last place in his five rides but did beat Poland World Cup racer Adrian Miedzinski in his third outing RELEASE DATE: Sunday 19 September 2010 (From Panthers site) PHEW ! Glad to hear he is ok Edited September 19, 2010 by zonkers
zonkers 7 Posted September 19, 2010 PETERBOROUGH fans will have the best of both worlds at the East of England Showground tomorrow night (Monday, September 20, 7.30 pm). They will be able to watch the Readypower Panthers and semi final rivals Coventry battling it out for a place in the Elite League Grand Final. And they’ll also be able to watch the racing from the other semi final between Poole and Wolverhampton on a giant TV screen. The official match magazine for the match will also carry a full scorecard for the Wimborne Road meeting – allowing supporters to keep a permanent record of both semis on the same night! If Peterborough can overcome the 14-point first leg deficit then they would have the home leg of the Grand Final against favourites Poole on Monday, September 27. But if Wolves do pull off a shock – the teams are tied after the first leg – then the Panthers will travel to Monmore Green on September 27 with the return leg at the East of England Showground on Monday, October 4. Crump99 4,476 Posted September 19, 2010 Should be coming along to this one. Haven't been to the EOES in a while and always enjoy my visits there. Thinking the Panthers will win by about 6-8, hopefully we can hold onto the lead we have. I'm sure we can. Adam. Should be worth the effort! The score could be anything but unless Coventry have a mare and everything falls into place for Panthers then Peterborough have left themselves too much to do. Coventry don't need to win and they can pick their races to do the damage. Rosco will know that and will not panic!
BobC 664 Posted September 19, 2010 For those that like to print their own programmes, heres the teams as listed in todays programme,(Buccs double header). Pirates 1.Chris Holder 2.Darcy Ward 3.Bjarne Pedersen 4.Artur Mroczka 5.Davey Watt 6.Leon Madsen 7.Jason Doyle (Now Gary Havelock) Wolves 1.Freddie Lindgren 2.Ty Proctor 3.Nicolai Klindt 4.Tai Woffinden 5.Adam Skornicki 6.Matthew Wethers 7.Ludvig Lindgren Also included is the race sheet from Peterborough Panthers 1.Kenneth Bjerre 2.Krzysztof Buczkowski 3.Rory Schlein 4.Niels-Kristian Iversen 5.Troy Batchelor 6.Mathieu Tresarrieu 7.Norbert Kosciuch Bees 1.Krzysztof Kasprzak 2.Richard Sweetman 3.Ben Barker 4.Edward Kennett 5.Chris Harris 6.Lewis Bridger 7.Premyslaw Pawlicki If the track is anything like it was today, then its not about a blue groove, but a blue motorway.Absolutely shocking.A good two thirds of the track was 'blue' from very early on.So little shale it was rediculous. Not even inches from the fence worked.Using a hosepipe was pathetic in the least, uneven and patchy watering was, well, useless tbh. Still,Bjarne had a few laps practice before the double header got under way, with Havvy watching from the pits.

Parsloes 1928 nearly 495 Posted September 19, 2010 Also, Kennett. He was in the short-track meeting at Rye House today. Finished runner up to Aiden Collins and ahead of series leader Pete Boast. Boastie's not the series leader! Going into today's penultimate Round Ade led and confirmed the STUK title by his win today. But Ed has performed superbly well in the four Short Track meetings he's ridden in, with one first place and two runner-ups..!
