Did anyone really expect Gollob to ride? I think the only reason people didnt say so before hand is out of respect for Mark.

Gollob, great rider but with the integrity of snake. How many times has he agreed to ride in meetings in this coutry only to come up with an excue now?

I was going to edit my post to ask the same thing. I'd love to know the answer, and when he last did ride in the UK.

He last rode here in the world cup, fantastic meeting, fantastic rider but the only time he has ridden here lately is for his country and i suspect there would be trouble for him in his homeland if he refused to ride for his country.

On March 30th, Tomasz is due to become an ambassador for his country, in relation to their part in hosting the 2012 European Football Championships.

Personally, I can fully accept his position and I'm sure he's very sorry that he can't ride for Mark and his fans. It's just very unfortunate timing.

Good news announced on the BSPA site this morning that Greg Hancock has agreed to ride in Mark's meeting next Wednesday.

And Ryan Sullivan, another rarely seen racing in Britain these days, has also been confirmed.

Keep the faith Lisa - Fingers crossed that it will all change by then - after all they said rain this weekend but, as we have seen, it's been gorgeous here both days. Let's hope the sun shines on the righteous on Wednesday and Mark wll be alright!

all the best, Nij

Yep quite right Nij, the forcast was for rain and overcast skys this weekend, but its been lovely, warm and sunny. With all the Technology they have nowadays they still can't get the forcast right, money for old rope.

Lets hope they have the forcast wrong again for Wednesday, should be a good night.
