Recommended Posts

Looking forward to my first visit to West Row since 2008. Any news on the Young Stars' guest?

I read that Michael Lee is going to having 'words' with James Brundle this week after his poor display at Belle Vue Monday night. This was Lee's first time as a Team manager. I have visions of him standing by the pit gate looking at his watch waiting for his riders to arrive.

Anyway....

Does anyone know the Kings lynn line up following the dreadful bad luck that befell the side on Wednesday?

Mildenhall line up as last Sunday

1 Brundle

2 Baseby

3 Jacobs

4 Halsey

5 Hargreaves

6 Laurence

7 Blackbird

Looks like a close one dependant on the the KL guest. R/R may well work

in there favour.Should be another good crowd with hopefully plenty making

the short trip from Norfolk!

Barrie Evans would be a good choice I reckon. Does R/R work the same in the NL as it does in the two senior leagues or can anyone have a ride?

With Darrens average of 7.47 being the lowest of any number one in the League, its a tough one. Darren was certainly worth far more than his average.

Isn't Evans average higher than Mallets baggy?

R/R should give extra rides to Cockle,Rayson,Knight and Campos?

I've no idea Phil, just thought they were of a similar standard and with Evans being local and a track specialist he'd be the ideal choice. If Darren is the lowest averaged number one then it'll be interesting to see who Dale can come up with, needs to be somebody good to compete with Brundle & Hargreaves in the key heats.

I seem to remember in Elite League you could get a 5% average addition when bringing in a guest. Did this not apply to all leagues ?

The signing of Kyle Hughes to replace Darren Mallett, plus the extra rides for Cockle, Knight, Campos and Rayson with R/R being used for Kerr certainly improve Kings Lynns chances, as a suitable guest was looking hard to find with Malletts average.

This looks a close call, and I'd just be happy with a Mildenhall victory! Should be a very good meeting :approve:

Very sad I cant make this meeting as I expect it to be another cracking close meeting like all at West Row so far. But good luck to all the riders and stay safe

Hughes now banned for 28 days at all levels according to Stars Facebook page, would quite like to know who the guest is before we set off at 3pm.
