Thank you for posting this. How did Laguta the elder, who i think is terrific, get 6 for his first ride and was he a reserve? If so, how come? Just seems odd that's all. ladyluck 1 Posted May 19, 2011 (edited) Grigory Laguta's first appearance seems to have resulted in an exclusion under the two minute rule. I'm guessing that the No 7 position has no "programmed" rides and is a "tactical reserve". That said, it is just a guess, but his appearances do seem to have started in Ht 6, where both Grigory and Tarasenko had the same helmet colour on and both were excluded (weird, since surely one of the two had to be wearing the right colour?), which is rather late if programmed. mickthemuppet 976 Posted May 20, 2011 Wow--What a good crowd. Ullevi would have loved to have had that many last week. What a great stadium as well
ladyluck 1 Posted May 20, 2011 Another Russian league meeting today, as Sayfutdinov's Balakovo thumped visitors Oktiabrski: http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/05/20/liga-rosyjska-sk-turbina-sk-oktiabrskij-6525-tylko-3-biegi-s/ Such was the dominence of the homesters, that they were able to give Sayfutdinov much of the meeting off. iris123 21,036 Posted May 20, 2011 Wow--What a good crowd. Ullevi would have loved to have had that many last week. What a great stadium as well Good to see the junior track in the middle as well.I remember when the stadium was being built it was said that Togliatti had ordered about 50 or more 80cc bikes from Denmark. They already have quite a few good youngsters. That project should ensure a fair number to follow

manchesterpaul 447 Posted June 3, 2011 Very heartwarming to see Speedway Star mention a crowd of 10,000 for one of the meetings. Not sure right now how many teams are in the league. Wasn't it decimated with withdrawals and closures etc.? Best of luck and wishes to the sport over there though. You certainly produce some right good racers. Was he so bad that they just left him out the rest of the match or what? He was such a great talent before his injury and "problems"...I'm hoping he can get himself back to the form he was showing when he was 16/17.
