MrMungo 708 Posted June 13, 2012 Ambulance stayed at the track, so they don't think Randrup's injuries were serious. Meanwhile, Fjelsted surprisingly lost at home to Esbjerg by a couple of points, if I heard the commentators correctly.
brandonbee48 1,194 Posted June 13, 2012 I still don't remember seeing Nicki get beat in these meetings. ( Could be forgetful, of course ) Thanks for the company everyone and wish you all the best. Alan.

iris123 21,095 Posted June 13, 2012 Nicki goes sometimes years without being beaten at Holsted.Think i was there when Klindt was the first to beat him in a league meeting at Holsted in a 3 or 4 year period
HenryW 1,178 Posted June 13, 2012 Meanwhile, Fjelsted surprisingly lost at home to Esbjerg by a couple of points, if I heard the commentators correctly. Yes, they did. The loss of Vissing hit the Fjelsted team quite hard. Palm Toft didn't deliver what Vissing would have. Went to a last heat decider, and Harris came past PK to clinch it for the visitors. No start girls at Fjelsted for Alan

arnieg 3,697 Posted June 14, 2012 Just a small note added here.Over the weekend Denmark beat Sweden in two 80cc test matches. The first in Slangerup was 78-30.The second meeting the next day in Malmö wasn't quite so easy.Denmark won 71-36 Scorers from Slangerup: Denmark 78 Martin Steen Hansen 13+2(max) Sam Jensen 13+2(max) Frederik Jakobsen 13+2(max) Jason Jorgensen 12+3(max) Andreas Lyager 8+1, Casper Olsen 8, Jonas Jensen 7+2, Emil Engstrom 4+1 Sweden 30 Johan Jensen 10 Filip Hjelmland 6 Kenny Wennerstam 5+1 Andreas Runesson 4 Alexander Johansson 2+1 Christoffer Selvin 2 Maksymillian Bogdanovich 1+1 Joel Kling 0 Johan Jensen (who won the Swedish 80cc championship 3 days earlier) was the only Swedish race winner, although Hjelmland was leading Hansen and Sam Jensen in ht 16 when his partner fell and the race was stopped. I thought Frederik Jakobsen was the most impressive Dane. Erik Gundersen was the Danish Team Manager Danish scorers from Malmo (via Frederik Jakobsen's website): Sam Jensen 14+1(max) Andreas Lyager - 12+2 point Frederik Jakobsen - 12+2 point Casper Olsen - 11+1 point Jason Jørgensen - 8 point Martin Steen Jensen - 7+1 point Jonas Jensen - 4+3 point Emil Engstrøm - 3 point
iris123 21,095 Posted June 14, 2012 (edited) Thanks Arnie.Casper Olsen, the mini Crump? Think it is him with his ginger hair and outfit almost identical to Jason. There are a number of impressive riders in the team.Young Jason is the one i find exciting. He really does attack the track and manages to pass riders.Of the Swedes i think i have only seen Wennerstam,so almost completely unknown to me.Hope it was an enjoyable meeting despite the one sided score line Edited June 14, 2012 by iris123
