News Flash - Tonight's meeting IOW v Mildenhall is on!

Hopefully a full team tonight with the latest addition of Aaron Baseby replacing Marc Owen. Anyone know the likely Mildenhall line-up?

Latest weather update for Ryde is for any showers to move away within next hour or so and thus NO problems are anticipated with tonight's match going ahead. Start time 7.30pm.

Mildenhall captain Lewis Blackbird is still missing after dislocating his shoulder at King's Lynn, so the Fen Tigers will operating rider replacement for him.

So the line up is Cameron Heeps, Joe Jacobs, Stefan Nielsen, Daniel Halsey, R/R, Nathan Stoneman, Josh Bates.

Cheers

Another superb performance tonight from Nathan Stoneman, to add to his win in the 2nd Round of the British Youth Championship at the weekend...............10-points from 5 rides, including an exclusion...........................he just gets better and better. Keep it up mate, great stuff.

Mildenhall certainly showed their potential last night! I still can't work out how it took Nathan Stoneman a rant on here & an article in the speedway star to get a club.

every club was asked in the nl and it was mildenhall who came up with a place. so nathan stoneman is repaying them with his riding. and intends to return to them for next season.

Nathan Stoneman was impressive, as were most of the Mildenhall team.

The Islanders however were dissapointing, apart from Danny Warwick and Gary Cottham they all struggled, either with pace or bike problems.

Kyle Hughes has not managed to match his maximum in his first match against the USA and has been off the pace in the last 2 home meetings, Ben Hopwood looks good on the bike but just hasn't got the speed at the moment and Paul Stark despite having 2 nice shiny bikes in the pits seemed to struggle to get one running properly.

Some good racing last night however and it is always good to see a close match but a draw and a home defeat is not a good start!

feel sorry for the islanders the team that they should have had at the start of the season i am sure could have been a title challenging side

{rob smith, nick simmons and marc owen} hopefully there replacements will come good but need a bit more time
