I'm a Newcastle supporter and i see the diamonds haven't qualified for the pairs? Fair enough but the qualifying is supposedly the top 3 averaged riders? So this would be Worrall, Lemon & Robson so with the rolling averages how does this mean Richie's still 6th in the diamonds averages. I don't understand this one bit..... anybody shed any light please

The pairs qualification is on current average (i.e. this season only). The rolling averages (used for team building etc.) are used for the Green Sheet Averages (as seen in the team line ups on the back of the 'raceday magazine' every week). The Rolling Averages take in account the last 38 official matches, so take in previous seasons.

Was in programme at the weekend, 3 teams miss out and we are one as its the top 3 averages in your team from 2012....don't think it's rolling averages.

Just means 2 nights on the piss in Cardiff rather than one in Somerset and one in Cardiff lol.

No that was the Fours!! The Pairs is the night before Cardiff at Somerset.
