Hi I expect you will get more detailed answers from more experienced riders, but as a relative new family to speedway too our experience has been that they are abit temperamental. They don't like wet conditions, but if you spray before riding in wet or dry conditions it makes life easier to clean afterwards. Drain the carb after riding to get rid of any dirt, check the spark plugs too cos the seem to carbon up quick and connections. Bumping is the norm, although to avoid frustration we have put our kick start back on to make life easier. Constant revering is required to keep them ticking over. However having said all of that it will depend on the engine you have... We only have a beginner bike and since purchasing we have had to change the filter, ignition, spark plugs, adjust the exhaust... But now we seem to be getting to grips with it all and it runs much better. I expect with your mx experience you are probably more knowledgeable than us.. But good look.!

Pull the wheel back so piston is on compression choke on fuel on cut out on run down the road jump on the seat to get back wheel turning engine over she should then spark into life. Do not give to much throttle as it starts to fire it will either stall go go off at a rate of knots. All are different it's just about getting used to your bike
