Belle Vue Aces Vs Poole Pirates 29/4/2013

The meeting has been postponed because of a waterlogged track, caused by a burst water main.

Best one yet....

Oh yes - the burst water main excuse........

Pull the other one........

At least come up with an original excuse - that one's been used before.......

Just shows what a mess British Speedway is in having to rely on riders being able to get back from Europe.

Oh the beauty of Twitter :D

Or not. New and better photo out now.

This happened at Hyde Rd many years back and made that area like a pudding.

Thank god we're moving.

Unbelievable - do promoters really want speedway to continue in this country? It doesn't look like they do!

The is now a picture which shows water on the 2nd bend. Its something they could sort in an hour unless there is still water going onto the track.

If they wanted to, bearing in mind Zagar and Zorro had missed their flights.

You may have been better showing the cause - as in the source of the leak, cos at the moment, nobody believes a word of it! Anyone can turn a hose on a make a little puddle....

Is it true Zagar and Zetterstrom missed their flights from Poland?

A line needs to be drawn into the sand. Forget what's happened previously, then advise teams that they must do their utmost to get meetings on or face severe punishment.
