Recommended Posts

Iversen and Kenni both choking. Kenni probably missing out on the final because it.

So how do they separate rider on the same point?

NKI 12p

Kildemand 11p

5 riders on 10p:

Kenni Larsen 2 1 3 3 1

Nicolai Klindt 3 0 2 3 2

Hans Andersen 2 2 1 2 3

Michael Jepsen Jensen 1 3 1 2 3

Kenneth Bjerre 2 3 0 2 3

one heat with three riders and one heat with 2 riders, winners goes to final.

Point Properties

a In all events, after all scheduled heats are run, determined rankings

between drivers with the same score, according to the following rules.

b At points like the prize-winning or last qualifying places,

determined the sequence by dividing heat.

c Other riders placed on who has the most 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4 (5th & 6th)

seats. A letter listing has always placed lower than 0 If the score

then still tied placed it runs best placed best in the

each heat.

d If the score after the section. b is still just between more than 2 riders

investigated the possibility of a fair placement following

Example:

3 drivers A, B and C are equal.

Page 27

Runs A has turned running B.

Runs A has turned running C.

Runs B has turned running C.

Here, the location will be: Runs A front drive B and drive B front drive C.

Does this method does not result shall judge draw

on the rankings.

Hope that clarifies it all for you lol

UPDATE: Just seen your post Ghostwalker, forum going very slow and my post stuck uploading for ten minutes. I'll read through yours and see if it tallies with what i've just pasted from the official regulations.

The fairest way and with no run-off necessary would be as the regs i pasted above.....on 3,2,1,0, no finish followed by head-to-head result. That would give us the following;

2 2 0 1 Nicolai Klindt (beats Bjerre on head-to-head heat)

2 2 0 1 Kenneth Bjerre

2 1 2 0 Michael Jepsen Jensen (beats Larsen on head-to-head heat)

2 1 2 0 Kenni Larsen

1 3 1 0 Hans ANdersen

The official DMU 500cc Championship regulations. I can check later if i pasted the wrong category but the method below seems the fairest.

The fairest way and with no run-off necessary would be as the regs i pasted above.....on 3,2,1,0, no finish followed by head-to-head result. That would give us the following;

FIgures in order are Number of Wins, Seconds, Thirds, Fourths.

2 2 0 1 Nicolai Klindt (beats Bjerre on head-to-head heat)

2 2 0 1 Kenneth Bjerre

2 1 2 0 Michael Jepsen Jensen (beats Larsen on head-to-head heat)

2 1 2 0 Kenni Larsen

1 3 1 0 Hans Andersen

Haven't a clue what they are actually going with though

right, well they did know either.

And i've just gone over the specific regulations for the finals and they didn't follow them either (did they? lol) I'll give links after if anyone is bothered??? hee hee

I just think what i suggested is the quickest and best way to determine and no run-offs needed. 3,2,1,0, non-finish and if they are equal head-to-head.

Anyways we must deal with what we have in front of us and enjoy the final......none of these run-offs OR this final race carry any points towards the championship anyway.

UPDATE: Geeeeeez we still got run-offs going on! How many? What a farce. If i was fluent in Danish i'd write to the DMU and/or the organizers to find out why they went down such a long-winded route, instead of the no run-off route.

The biggest problem is that the final heat in final 2 does count towards the championship. Very inconsistent rules/procedures.
