Cliffeboy 577 Posted August 9, 2013 Looking forward to seeing Bech and Jensen around the OTA but like Cliffe said, this should be comfortable with the Rebels taking the win by 15 points or so. The form of our top 4 is immaculate at the moment, this should be a mere warm up for tomorrows meeting which is far more important. Doyle 15 last night for the Brummies, Nick paid 9, and Josh`s last 4 Prem matches (including a guest for Rye ) 15,14,15 14........happy days for the Rebels at the moment. And keep crossing those fingers mate. Garry is a real nice bloke and shaping up out to be a very good team manager, learn't his trade with the buccaneers at Poole, now has a real good team assembled at the OTA. He deserves to go a heat 15 better!!!! Edited August 9, 2013 by Starman2006
Najjer 2,890 Posted August 9, 2013 Najjer has spoken, hail the lord. For the Lords are Jason Doyle and Nick Morris, who handed out a right spanking tonight.
oldtimer 340 Posted August 9, 2013 (edited) Rampant Rebels carried on where they left off on Tuesday, Nick and Alex are proving a 5-1 machine and Doyle back to his best after sorting out his electrical problems. For the third match in a row, I have to say that Simon Lambert was worth much more than his 2 points. For the Devils, Bech looks an entertainer and Jensen could prove useful, but expected more from Todd Kurts who is possibly still feeling his injury. R/R got the Devils 7 points so probably no less than Gathercole would have scored. There was a huge crowd inflated by the Plymouth supporters and consequently it created a good atmosphere as did the frolics of the Rebels Rooster and the Plymouth Devil on the centre green. It was good to see that with 3 meetings in 8 days crowds were better than average for all three matches, obviously proof that the recession must nearly be over. One of the new attractions at the Oak Tree now days is what new high tech gadget will Dave T have next week. Edited August 9, 2013 by oldtimer

Halifaxtiger 5,318 Posted August 10, 2013 Usual decent OTA meeting with some good racing from Newman,Bech,Jensen,Morris and Nielsen. Somerset were very impressive and will be a real handful for anyone in the play offs. Plymouth seem to have a winner in Jensen and the way the Devils have stepped up from the Bowden era cannot be over stated. Big thanks to Pirate Nick.
