Getting someone in short term for an unknown length of time probably proved virtually impossible, as riders wouldn't know how long they would be signing for. Now we know Christian is out for the season (hope he makes a full recovery and can get back next season) it should be easier to tempt someone to sign until the end of the current campaign. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Speedway Supporters appreciate this and the fact that the Team has to, on occasions, struggle on with a Rider short. Remember that with only six Riders in your Team that an injury during a Meeting will put you down to five Riders - then you really are in trouble. R/R isn't ideal but it works. Steve with reported hand injury and Richie with muscle/tissue damage to left thigh. Hope both okay for this evening. Difficult to replace our number 1 at such short notice and R/R would be a big ask of a 5 man team even if that was an option. Need 3 points tonight and could be a difficult one for George to call.
