Swedish Playoffs 2013 (see First Post For Teams And Race Card Links)

So here we are, another season have already come and (almost gone). Only four weeks of playoffs are remaining.

 

Both Allsvenskan and Elitserien playoffs starts next week, with Elitserien quarter-finals leg 1 on Tuesday and Allsvenskan semi finals leg 1 on Thursday.

 

Elitserien

This will be aired on tv as well but with much less focus then the other QF.

A very interesting quarter final.

Smederna won with only 2p at home but lost quite big in the final round.

However I do believe that Smederna will do a better meeting at Indianerna's track this time.

But Smederna really need to improve their starts since they been pretty much rubbish the second half of the season.

I think that Smederna needs about 6-8 points at home to still be in reach of the semis for the return meeting.

 

Smederna have signed Thomas Charnowski as a replacement for the replacement for Kenni.

Charnowski is not listed in the lineup since he is not been registered yet.

 

Personally I'm very sceptical about this signing. Charno haven't really scored much in Sweden at all in his latest couple of tries.

Despite his poor showing last time out Daniel Davidsson gets the nod over Ludvig Lindgren (5.00 average from 11 matches).

 

They've got thrashed in their last two matches 37-53 HOME to Dackarna and prior to that 31-59 at Ikaros Smederna.

 

Elit Vetlanda:

No Crump, Sayfutdinov or Madsen this year in the above line-up, yet they are here again.

 

In their last match hammered Hammarby (sorry i couldn't resist that lol) at home 59-31 and lost away 42-48 to Dackarna.

Good to see Bomber back.

I think it will be a decent contest as both teams have a good main body and decent reserves.

Elit look to have the edge but it depends which Hans Andersen turns up and how Bomber copes coming back from injury.
