capone 35 Posted December 21, 2014 just seen the weekend ice racing at novosibirsk...average crowd for this venue,,.about 600. each day.it is not advertised very well ...maybe they could attract a few more... seven riders failed to show for the 1st day ( maybe they should try and attract a few more of them as well)....strangely well over 3/4 had left before the final and only about 50 of us including the press stayed for the presentation!!?? i enjoyed it...some good racing Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Of the next 10 days, only one day is forecasted to have temperatures above zero degrees Celsius. For the nearest 10 days the temperature is expected to be both above and below zero. According to the article linked below substantial subzero temperatures is required for the ice to build/freeze fast enough.
