TividaleHeathen 11 Posted December 10, 2013 Very happy with the signing of Steve Worrall and with it looking like Max Clegg & Tom Perry will be back in Heathens colours a pretty solid start to the team building!!
Neil H 63 Posted December 10, 2013 Surprised that this hasn't been on here by now. - Dudley won't be in the fixtures for 2014. Ok, suspense over, the Heathens will be back as Cradley.

Islander15 1,065 Posted December 12, 2013 Cradley have confirmed Dan Greenwood has been released after Brady Kurtz made unavailable to ride National League!! Â http://www.dudleyheathens.co/news.php?extend.951 Â So the original team was going to look like: 1. 7.53 2. Dan Greenwood 5.76 3. Tom Perry 6.30 4. Max Clegg 6.27 5. Steve Worrall 7.09 6. Nathan Greaves 4.00 7. Brady Kurtz 3.00 Â I expect the title to go to Cradley anyway but, that team would have wiped the floor more than this years did! A final team average over 50.00 wouldn't have surprised me.

I feel for Dan as he was looking back to his best in the second half of last season after dropping down to reserve but these things happen!!  I'm glad that it looks like Nathan Greaves is also going to be given another go despite some struggles around Monmore last season!!
Hunty 189 Posted December 12, 2013 I dont think you would have been far off there and all riders would have been able to improve there own averages!!  I feel for Dan as he was looking back to his best in the second half of last season after dropping down to reserve but these things happen!!  I'm glad that it looks like Nathan Greaves is also going to be given another go despite some struggles around Monmore last season!!  Away day specialist is Greaves... was amazing at Kings Lynn and IOW, loves the big tracks  As for his Monmore form he never looked right after this big off, but come towards the end of the season it was looking back to how he started. He was a rookie in the league last year a bit of stability and given a second shot will do no end to his confidence! 1.Branford 2.4.81 (Crang,Priest,Isherwood,Baseby,Kingston) 3.Perry 4.Clegg 5.Worrall 6.Greaves 7.3.00  ?? Very Solid top 4 with a decent reserve in Greaves  Branford would make us look amazing! Him and Worrall were the best two to ride monmore last year and he was very quickly snapped up after the Under 21's final to ride as a guest for the next meeting. Got a feeling thats the route were going down!  Ommer Um Cradley!
NTB 17 Posted December 12, 2013 How come mildenhall could have Heeps and we can't have Kurtz?

brewer 159 Posted December 12, 2013 Got to feel a bit sorry for Greenwood in this case..part of the fine team last year and binned because they tried to sneak an Aussie in the NL i have to gree there, so why cant you keep Dan and use a british 3 pointer.
greyhoundp 990 Posted December 12, 2013 (edited) I myself would like to see Michael Neale as our 3 pointer, Im guessing we will want Nathan as our other reserve, usually thats how we build our Teams, 1 reserve as a 3 pointer, and 1 with experience, personally i would have chosen Greenwood over Isherwood, but now thats out, will we retain Isherwood?, personally i wouldnt. Maybe they will go with 2 X 3 point reserves, such as Neale, and possibly Freemantle whom some have been suggesting, thereby enabling Cradley to have a stronger Top four.
