The Manchester Evening News asked their readers to decide ahead of a glittering awards ceremony held in front of 400 VIPs at the Hilton Hotel at the first We Love MCR Sporting Legends Awards Dinner. This was the time when British Speedway ruled the world, and EVERYBODY wanted to race in our league. Wonderful memories, Wonderful times, Brilliant Speedway.
