It's all about opinion which can mainly be based around riders for and against your own team you've watched

1, Kerr

2, Iversen

3, Kenny Bjerre

4, Piotr Pawlicki

5, Steve Worrall

6, Korneliussen

7, Kildermand

8, Robert Lambert

9, Nicholls

10, Watt

In that order

My top ten is based on who has impressed me this season.

1.Mikkel Bech

2.Richard Lawson

3.Piotr Pawlicki

4.Lewis Kerr

5.Lewis Rose

6.Lewis Blackbird

7.Peter Kildemand

8.Steve Worrall

9.Matej Zager

10.Robert Lambert

Six out of the ten are Brits which is good, i know many wont agree but i by and large i think the league setup is working a treat for these younger riders.

On current form my top 10 are now as follows.

01-Neils Kristian Iversen-King's Lynn

02-Jason Doyle-Leicester

03-Matej Zagar-Belle Vue

04-Peter Kildemand-Swindon

05-Piotr Pawlicki-Wolverhampton

06-Hans Andersen-Coventry

07-Przem Pawlicki-Poole

08-Kenneth Bjerre-King's Lynn

09-Troy Batchelor-Swindon

10-Chris Holder-Poole

I have included Kenneth Bjerre despite him being currently on the sidelines but if I had not then Scott Nicholls would come in at #10. Also Chris Holder will not be included again until he returns to The BPL.

Guess it depends on what track you've seen riders perform at. For me, the best opposition rider at the Norfolk Arena this year has been Matej Zagar who also impressed me when I went to Leicester.

Away from home, I was impressed with Piotr Pawlicki versus the Stars who seems to have mastered Monmore after about a month of the season!

It has little to do with the standards of the EL simply a distortion of the average brought about by the new format.

Does anyone really think that Kerr and Blackbird are better at the moment than the like of Watt, Karlsson, Harris and many others.

I have to say I was gutted that Panthers had to drop down to PL to be sustainable..

A few's month on and I'm loving it...great racing without the disparity of ability between the top and the bottom riders.... ;)

PL is the future and I fully expect the EL to fall into line with the PL in the next few years - with a PL North and a PL South league set up... :t:

I have visited almost every PL track, seen some brilliant and some poor racing. Likewise in the EL. The difference still is that in the EL you see the better riders. If you prefer seeing the quality riders and appreciating their skills then in the UK that is the EL. Coupled with that I have enjoyed the fact that the race format this year means more races between riders of comparable ability. It's a matter of personal preference. Edited by Aces51
