racers and royals 8,736 Posted July 11, 2014 Happy with an away point - would have been happier with a 2 point draw but that was never gonna happen after heat 2!! Josh G and Vaclav disappointing as AORLOV correctly pointed out - but Pawlicki should have pulled out, as he is either carrying some sort of injury or is ill with something!!? Sure he will be ok for Leszno on Sunday
Skidder1 7,637 Posted July 11, 2014 (edited) Sure he will be ok for Leszno on Sunday We'll see - he has not been at his best in his last few British meetings!! When a rider looks as white as a sheet in the pits, is sick and is hunched over his handlebars when he rides off the track - then I would think he has some sort of illness/injury issue!!? We know from last season (with his leg injury) that Shamek will carry on riding even against the best of specialist advice!! Starman2006 2,355 Posted July 11, 2014 Entertaining night out that. Good to see Crumpy in the bar after and Hi to the Workington gang, good luck at Somerset tomorrow. Oh, and Shovler sneaking off to the exit after Heat 14 again the highlight of the night. Al least we got a point, and for a couple of low key performnces would have been more. No complaints here, nor i suspect from Steve... Have a good day !!!
Chalkie 263 Posted July 11, 2014 Has anyone noticed that if Steve W had not had an engine failure that heat would have been 3-3 and the final score 49-41, with all 3 points staying at Blunsdon?

Don't mention the bad luck Swindon had & Killer's bad score as that would've meant we would've got all 3 points. You know we only won because of Poole's middle orders poor night as Starman said.

sommelier 1,118 Posted July 13, 2014 Made the long trip for this one, was expecting a bigger crowd, thought it was a ok meeting, Ward outstanding, was a little disappointed with Nick Morris.

The reason for the alledged poor turn out i suspect was because you had the PL pairs the following night followed by Cardiff the day after.. Skidder1 7,637 Posted July 13, 2014 Why do you think Swindon ride Poole on the Thursday before the Pl pairs and The Gp's ? Well it clearly didn't work this time - because people just don't have the money!!!!!! Not sure if the Pairs had their best attendance either (despite what Sky kept saying in commentary?!) Tick tock tick tock.. ping... Who told you it was poorly attended ? it was one Swindon biggest crowds of the season (that's not hard this season )..Seeing you are so thick are explain to why they have this match on this date it's because they hope that fans who watch the pl pairs and go to Cardiff will also take in Swindon match on route hence why the last time this match happened on the same date Swindon had there biggest crowd since the Swindon v Wolves el play off final .. But of course you think that is a stupid idea Edited July 13, 2014 by orion
