Eastbourne - Swindon 11.8.14

Recommended Posts

I have full confidence in Swindon reaching the play-offs but losing to the Knobs in the semis. They will finish 4th. with 54 points, behind Cov with 59, but in front of Lakeside 48, Eastie 47.

Gonna be interesting who Swindon book as a guest on Thursday & a home defeat would put pay to the play offs.

Yes but then we have 4pts to pick up when we visit the abbey so evens things out.

It's not just bees in the play off hunt anyway there's also Eastbourne & Lakeside

Haha there is no chance of that with Hand Job and Bummer leading the charge. You only beat us cos of the rain and horrific injury to young Daryl and even then you were celebrating like the title was already won with selfies in the pits!

Too many away meetings for those 2 to make it.

Agree with most of the comments.

Morris - going backwards

Gustafsson - disappointing against his old team

Batchelor - not doing his job

Watt - an ageing gater, dont suppose Rosco had much choice.

Worrall and North did well enough.

If Swindon sneak into the play-offs they will be no match for KL and Poole. But nor would Easty, Lakeside or Coventry.

Just one extra home meeting, at increased prices, for whoever makes it.

Swindon still have to go to their fav track Brandon, and have 5 home 4 away.... Cov 8 home, 6 away...Lakeside have 7 of their remaining 11 meetings away so more or less no-hopers, Eastbourne 8 away, 4 home..not much hope(both poor away). Poole to beat Swindon, KL to beat Cov in semis.

So you tell me who else would you have picked tonight based on who was prob available?

g.

Lewis Bridger. One track he does know his way round is Eastbourne.

Not too worried about away meetings as bees have one of best away records in league.

Bees can afford at the moment to drop a couple of points as 4pts behind Swindon but have 5 meetings in hand.

Eastbourne are above Swindon with 3 meetings in hand.

Watt tried his nuts off for little reward ,Morris had a nasty get off, batchelor missing as usual in the big heats.

Praise to worrall but to be fair he had ten points tonight before he started, his machinery drive to the bend superbly.

Eastbourne were very solid , pedersen having a good run and jk on new equipment looking much better

They did well with the track as it was lashing down 5 mins up the road.

Pivotal weeks of the season for eastie without blackbird and reliant of availability of 2 or 3 guests

All sounds so terribly gay young chap...Lakeside and Eastie wont make it unless Swindon implode/explode.

If they win at Swindon on Thursday they may be in with a chance and will deserve it but cant see it even though Swindon are so bloody inconsistent....look at the remaining fixtures, bloody tough run-in with so many away fixtures, and they're pants away from home, lost every meeting.

Worral did "well enough" I'd love to see him when he does really well then!

Worrall was superb, they can beat KL and Cov over two legs but not sure about Poole home and away.
