Wolfsbane 12,944 Posted September 1, 2014 Middleditch is at it again. The foot in mouth gift that keeps on giving
Tsunami 10,219 Posted September 1, 2014 Well well, Davey Watt has managed to call a meeting off. Never changes from how he was at Newcastle, with that attitude even before a meeting.
MrMungo 708 Posted September 1, 2014 If the track was good enough for heat 7 (which it clearly was not), it's good enough for heat 11. It's not like it's gotten any worse, surely? Another disaster for British Speedway - it seems something of a regular occurence, sadly.
stevebrum 6,831 Posted September 1, 2014 Its the right thing to call it off. Middlo DID just say `Lakeside got to heat 10 and wanted it off`. I have nearly wet myself i`m laughing so much.
nelliejim 77 Posted September 1, 2014 have lakeside just done the same as Poole last year they need maximum points for any hope of the play offs Speedway is a bloody joke

Tom Turner 347 Posted September 1, 2014 What a farce. Totally unfair. Poole wanted to call it off from heat 6 and weren't allowed and then Davey goes whinging after they've won the meeting. If it was too unsafe to ride, then it was too unsafe to ride after heat 6.

But like you say too many farces year after year.
Fromafar 10,416 Posted September 1, 2014 Completely agree SCB. Belle Vue last season Poole needed to win to get in the playoffs the track was shocking but the meeting went on and as Poole were winning there was no moaning from Middlo and the Poole mafia then. Now they are whining as they are getting outclassed if this meeting was closer or if Poole were ahead there would be silence. I don't think Middlo is moaning he was happy to accept any decision.what it tells me is stay away if you think there is going to be rain you are Definately going to get ripped off one way or another.
