maneacat 473 Posted February 15, 2015 I see from Post 1219 on the Coventry 2015 thread posted by Chris BART Simpson that Horton has been chucking toys out of the pram again and upsetting the Bees fans in the process - not a good way to kick off the new season - don't imagine there will be many Panthers fans surprised by this latest development.

Noodles 1,337 Posted February 19, 2015 Ipswich/Mildenhall/neither who cares. The important thing for Peterborough is that he isn't an asset of his EL club and won't be missing any fixtures. Â SCB regulations state that if he is a NL rider then EL takes priority when neither club owns him. So if he is Mildenhal asset Wolves get priority, if he's an Ipswich asset then Peterborough get priority.

Rule 16.1.2 states that, if he's an NL rider "an arrangement can be made", only if that isn't "arranged" would the EL club take priority.  Having said that, I'd guess CVS might just be quicker to "arrange" things than Peterborough. Edited February 20, 2015 by smod

SCB 15 Posted February 20, 2015 Blackbird has already tweeted that Panthers will get priority on his services in 2015. One must presume he should know... Which suggests he's an Ipswich asset. If he's Mildenhalls, then Wolves can claim priority if they like.

One must presume he should know...He tweeted he is a Mildenhall asset, therefore he is wrong when he then says Panthers get priority.
crescent girl 1,915 Posted February 20, 2015 The poster above quotes rule 16.1.2 which says that an arrangement can be made to give Panthers priority if he belongs to an NL club. Â What's not to understand here?

What's not to understand here?  Where speedway rules are concerned, everything. Rules only apply depending on who's asking and what day of the week it is. 16.1.2a can quickly be agreed at the next BSPA meeting.

SCB 15 Posted February 20, 2015 or that PBoro have made the 'arrangement' in their favour. You really think Wolves would agree to that? They'd be mad to. If he's riding for Peterborugh then one of two things is true. He is owned by Ipswich/Louis or CVS has gone mad.

The 'arrangement' could be rider choice if not.
mdmc82 2,878 Posted February 21, 2015 I'm gonna take it that Blackbird has found out and knows what he's talking about so Peterborough will get priority.
