BluTiger 21,713 Posted October 6, 2014 I really cannot understand Horton's position in all this ... Why has he not been seen at the Showground for months? Why was he not at the Meeting yesterday? I thought he was a Speedway fan - and cannot even be bothered to Watch and support the team he supports in the KOC final? Also where was Neil Watson? Neil Watson was there, i saw him just prior to the warm up...
mudflaps 664 Posted October 6, 2014 Horton was there - sitting in the grandstand Block C !! Unless he has an identical twin Tel P.S Thought we had been knocked out the KOC!!! cheers for that Tel - his appearance was very low profile... Yes you are correct sorry - League Cup final! Thought the atmosphere was very poor - more like a wake than that of a speedway final.. ATB
Dodger Blue 152 Posted October 6, 2014 cheers for that Tel - his appearance was very low profile... Yes you are correct sorry - League Cup final! Thought the atmosphere was very poor - more like a wake than that of a speedway final.. ATB There was a good reason for that...... You have to marvel at the brass neck of Horton, he sat in the stand listening to the end of season speeches that were publicly announcing that his management was s*** and then was applauding with everyone else at the end of them!!!! Unbelievable!!!
bdjfan 107 Posted October 6, 2014 Yep he was there didn't put his hand in his pocket for the collection for the speedway riders benenevolent fund!!
TheScotsman 2,484 Posted October 6, 2014 Horton was there? I'm surprised. Fair play to those making the speeches then.
TAST 21 Posted October 6, 2014 cheers for that Tel - his appearance was very low profile... Yes you are correct sorry - League Cup final! Thought the atmosphere was very poor - more like a wake than that of a speedway final.. ATB yes!! But there was a fair amount of optimism about 2015 down the steps separating Block C and Block D!! Think we will all be watching the forums closely (again!!) during the close season. Could not wait for end of year speeches - unfortunately had to be somewhere else quickly!! TAST 21 Posted October 6, 2014 I spotted Trevor with what appeared to be a tear in his eye - clapping his hands red raw !! Was there any explanation about the shenanigans with the air fence on bend 1 before the start of the meeting?? A very reliable source told me that all the spare panels had "walked" towards Coventry prior to the meeting!! Tel
TheScotsman 2,484 Posted October 6, 2014 Really? I must say I thought there looked to be fewer panels on turn 1 than usual but since I've never counted them I assumed I was imagining it.
Crump99 4,483 Posted October 6, 2014 (edited) Really? I must say I thought there looked to be fewer panels on turn 1 than usual but since I've never counted them I assumed I was imagining it. Last time they had to take the end panel on turn 2 to replace a bust one a few panels in so it was shorter unless the bust panel was repaired which I doubt for one meeting. proud panther 1,507 Posted October 6, 2014 Coventry have been using our air fence for a few weeks. How Horton has got the nerve to sit with the people he has screwed this season is beyond me.

peterborough daz 220 Posted October 6, 2014 Heard a whisper that a bid has been made to the Frosts and is under consideration. The person in question wants to get Panthers back to the EL but not straight away.

LagutaRacingFan 1,940 Posted October 6, 2014 (edited) Fingers crossed Coventry win tonight so Horton can pay the riders the money he owes them from playoff earnings. Horton is a clown. Edited October 6, 2014 by Morrissey Fan
