That is incorrect. They are still the registered owners of that club, and just not involved in the day to day running...

Wasn't just directed at them as there have been numerous cases of riders owned by people no longer involved with a club.

I might be wrong but Mark Loram springs to mind?.

Agreed, you do make a valid point. It's not a perfect situation by any means..

It's far from a perfect situation & being made worse by personal grudges no matter how right they might be as the sport is getting damaged.

Two clubs from last season have already gone, teams that are left are struggling to get heat leaders & how long can it carry on for.

I just wish i lived closer to a Premier league track as the Elite league is a joke.

Let's just hope all the Poole assets that get left out get a team if they want & are true to the sport when the play offs come.

Sadly I doubt it!!!

What goes around, comes around as far as Rick Frost is concerned!! Mutual respect between Rick and Matt (Rick and Julie welcome guests at Poole Xmas Dinner previously!!) Guaranteed quick payment. Done deal. :t::wink:

They have conveniently forgotten how Matt Ford got his revenge against Coventry & stitched up the Panthers in the process. Like everything else in this world, for too many people money talks & principles go to the wall. Were not the Panthers making a stand against how the EL was being run or have they now conveniently forgotten that when the money was offered? If they had any principles, they would have told Fat Maude where to stick his ill gained loot!

You've been reading too many 'Once upon a time' stories!!! :D

How and why would a solid, principled business man like Rick Frost ever forget something like that - assuming it ever happened as you've suggested of course?! :D:nono:

Assets are vital in getting together a team of your choosing or at least the foundations. Otherwise it is a case of waiting to see what's left or when they are allowed to talk to riders.

However an asset could easily walk out and demand he wants away and made available to other teams straight away.

They can't do much to stop them riding elsewhere and at least will get a transfer fee or a loan fee. Wolverhampton have received more fees for Nicki Pedersen than the transfer fee they paid for him and that is useful for any club.
