I heard Charlie Webster on the Moral Maze on Radio 4. I thought she was extremely poor and incapable of arguing her position beyond restating what it was. She didn't even seem to understand the questions being put to her and certainly didn't address them.

So and quite rightly. Sheffield Utd decided to ignore the the threats of Miss Webster. She has now resigned from her position as patron of the Club.

Did anyone else see her on News night?

There was a drug addled idiot up interviewed first.

Then, in came Charlie ..........oh dear.

She was clearly of the belief, that because she has some sort of celebrity life, that she could manipulate everything. Sheffield Utd, said no! :approve:

The issue, isn't Sheffield Utd, it's not Ched Evans.

Charlie, go get some counselling FFS! You can't bully people in to agreeing with you, when it's not going to work. YOU are the one with the huge issue. YOU are not speaking for everyone that has suffered abuse, you are speaking for yourself!

So she resigns over this yet a month ago wished she had a photo with Mike Tyson, she craves publicity because she knows she isn't very good at her job.

Shame someone doesn't bring up her twitter comments about Tyson when they are interviewing her!

What is the issue then? Sorry I haven't seen any of the programmes but surprisingly for me I have heard of Sheffield United and Ched Evans.

She's only doing this to further her own career. She doesn't care about the alleged victim, she only care's about herself ;)

A woman of great principle.

Wonder if she remembers this next time she talks to Ward who may not have been found guilty but is without doubt just the horrible type of scroat she rails about.

Oh well she has had her 15 minutes of fame and can now return to the obscurity of UK speedway.

Somebody on Newsnight should have asked. "Charlie how important is it not to have rapists at Sheffield Utd?"

That is unlikely , as she is now an ex sky presenter too.

Is she. Where did you get that from Dave?

It was in an early report on the sky homepage, reporting on her resignation from Sheffield Utd. Sky have subsequently changed the wording of the report but it seems clear that she is no longer part of the sky team.
