a few years ago licensed riders were advised by the SCB not to ride at lydd.

The SCB did absolutely nothing about it.

Hi Gustix

I have checked all the links today on a laptop and mobile device And they all work fine as they have for months.

I have also asked others to check and no problem.

Will check again tomorrow But there is no issue we or the Web company can find.

Although I expect to be shot down for being too pedantic, but does this topic belong in the speedway section. Surely sidecars and flat track racing would be more at home with grass track.

Is Speedway not involved at all?

I understood it was part of the overall Plan that Speedway was to be involved there. If so then this Thread IS the appropriate Section.

a few years ago licensed riders were advised by the SCB not to ride at lydd.

But nothing happened to those who did because the acu were stopped from sanctioning riders for taking part in events outside their remit decades ago. For some reason there are still those in the acu feel it's ok to issue empty threats, or possibly decades ago is about as up to date as some of them are!

You are right that the SCB advised riders not to ride at Lydd a few years ago, but the only issue if you ride there would be that your "not worth the paper it's written on" SCB insurance is not valid.

You can't be banned for riding at Lydd, you are just not SCB insured when you do.
