Shocking choice of meeting also - which idiot decided trick track Lakeside should be shown away at fastest track in league!!!!! If ur gonna show them away it has to be at Wolves or Belle Vue or it's never gonna be entertaining. marko 956 Posted March 31, 2015 Did not see the Leicester meeting but was planning to go Friday but after tonight and in light of the news that Hammers are effectively going to close after this season?????? not sure I can be bothered anymore, sacrilage to move Arena Essex Hammers to Kent imo, be like Arsenal moving to White Hart Lane. Track it smooth enough and prepared better than anywhere in the country with adverse weather conditions We also have to bear in mind that Poole were the original team in this televised meeting but because of their p!$$!ng around over the Ward situation and pulling out, Lakeside were the only team that stepped in to fill the schedule. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Compulsory purchase order on the land at Arena, unfortunately have to move sometime soon. Reckon it would've been this year if planning was approved at Kent. If it's prepared better than anywhere in the country, why do we see, time after time such poor meetings and racing there each time sky visits? Gone are the days when "good preparation", meant lots of dirt on the track.
