Bruiser McHuge 589 Posted May 20, 2015 Is there no moderation on the forum anymore? I don't think titles such as the one on this thread are acceptable or does anything go now? On the face of it though the title is correct.....I just don't think it's right for a rider to race, and then say he is unfit to ride at Belle Vue, and then ride in Poland...the excuse that Belle Vue is too tight and technical for an injury whereas a big Polish track isn't is just ridiculous.....you are either fit to ride speedway or you are not...track sizes are part and parcel of the sport......it opens cans of worms this in that riders could start pulling out of meetings that they don't like the track and be replaced by a track specialist and then miraculously return for a more favoured track the next day.....it just looks dodgy regardless of circumstances.
Gemini 4,894 Posted May 20, 2015 I can accept to some degree a level of banter/disagreement/insults within the thread itself but to allow titles to be used like this one is just wrong. I agree it is wrong. Cheats should not be in inverted commas.

B.V 72 1,054 Posted May 20, 2015 (edited) Not strictly true. They were the Wildcats in 1985/6. Does a wildcat look anything like a cheetah ? Edited May 20, 2015 by B.V 72
Dave Jones 2,127 Posted May 20, 2015 Does a wildcat look anything like a cheetah ? In the case of Poole I would suggest identical .

Dave Jones 2,127 Posted May 20, 2015 (edited) Albert Pierrepoint would have been a great fan of Poole's I bet he could have executed a few good moves Pity he wasn't a rider then he could have teamed up with Tyburn Gallows. Dave Jones 2,127 Posted May 21, 2015 He liked meetings that were strung out Albert would be redundant in modern day speedway, you just need to give the promoters enough rope and they hang themselves.
Dave Jones 2,127 Posted May 21, 2015 This is all getting rather ropey and strung out. Cannot believe rider you know who as not been mention for the last 110 posts. You are right. I'm off to see if there is any new "noose"
