Berwick V Redcar (pl) 23rd May

Recommended Posts

Best Wishes to Claus on a speedy recovery, Berwick don't race at home at least till towards the end of June, it could be quite a different looking Bandits line up.

Vissing has been top notch since he signed for us 18 months ago, bar his spell at Number One been a solid performer

He will be hard to replace in my opinion especially on that average

Decent result last night , but once again its marred by an injury to a rider , also it looks like the engine /clutch gremlins are still troubling Berwick against tougher opposition we might not get away with it .

Just when it looks like Berwick have turned the corner and starting to hit a bit of form we're hit with a double whammy of injuries to Claus and to Hynek , and the fact that there's no meetings at Berwick for the next few weeks doesn't help , any momentum that has been gained will be lost , blank race nights for whatever reason are the bane of modern speedway , problem is people get into a regular routine of turning up every week , when its not on they do something else, question is how do you attract them back ? No problem if you're a die hard who's going to come whatever , but if your new to the sport surely you want regular action .

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to both of our most recent injury victims

Most tracks prepare a track across the track, which then moves towards the fence through the meeting, at Berwick the majority of the shale is against the fence, and by heat 4 the rest of the shale has joined it.

Why do the rakers not rake the shale back down.

Rakers rake the start line, Why

Why is the track not lightly watered during the meeting to keep the shale together.

Why does the tractor grading do nothing to the betterment of the surface during the meeting.
